"My Lobotomy" by Howard Dully. An amazing memoir about a boy who was lobotomized when we was just 12 years old. When he turned 54 he started looking for answers as to why this happened to him. 'Gathering Blue,' by Lois Lowry I found out was actually the pre-cursor to 'Messenger' so I read them out of order and kinda knew everything that was going to happen. Oops.
